"You Are Seen" is an immersive, graphic space with a repeating eye motif found in various mediums throughout.
The eyes belong to the iconic Fatih Ringgold and Niki de Saint Phalle as a reminder to the artist and the patrons that the ancestors are always watching over us.
"You Are Heard" is an immersive installation with community at the heart. The kitchen acts as a gathering space for many, so the room was transformed into a surrealist kitchen featuring recording equipment and ASMR elements tucked away for patrons to experiment, record their experiences. The "Heard Kitchen" will also act as a space for community programming and podcast recordings throughout the install.

I was really drawn to the opportunity to create work that was playful which is a departure from the heavier themes of truth and identity in my projection work.
I also love that Flutter is creating community by bringing together a dynamic group of artists together, but also by producing community focused programming that will live on throughout the exhibition.
Art creates space for freedom, for the artist and the audience.
